Mark Evans has over 30 years experience successfully leading industrial capital equipment sales in international business to business markets. Mark’s passion is helping companies enter international export markets to achieve dramatic results for customers, investors, employees, and partners. Mark is the founder and President of MPE International, LLC, which assists companies to develop business in overseas markets. Mark has assisted US companies open new international markets and has helped European companies open markets in North America.
Prior to his current work, Mark was the Global Marketing Manager with a private US manufacturer, leading their multi-million dollar sales and marketing efforts. In this role, Mark and his team successfully expanded the business through US and international markets. Starting with a worldwide Voice of the Customer survey, Mark tailored product offerings to provide superior value to customers. By providing the best lead times in the industry, and products tailor made to each market, customer service and sales were dramatically improved in developing markets.
Before leading efforts for the US manufacturer, Mark was Vice President – International Sales at United Air Specialists, Inc., a publicly held division of CLARCOR, which produced commercial and industrial air cleaning systems, TotalStat electrostatic spraying systems and Kleentek electrostatic oil cleaning systems. Mark successfully introduced the electrostatic spraying systems to the international steel industry and brought on Shin-Nippon Steel and Thyssen Krupp Stahl as the first major international customers. Mark recruited and trained industrial representatives in Brazil, South Korea, Japan, Netherlands and Spain. Mark also formed a joint venture in Japan and created a licensee in Germany with the TotalStat technology.
